Rebranding a Non-Profit to Expand Visibility

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

here we go

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Community Link, a 501(3)(c) dedicated to getting the working poor out of homelessness and addressing the affordable housing crisis in the region, approached us for help rebranding and repositioning the organization. Research had showed that there was a disconnect between what Community Link does—help individuals and families find and obtain safe, decent and affordable housing—and what people knew about them. Their former logo did not help clarify things. Additionally, Community Link was rolling out a new “continuum of services” to its clients, which was not represented in the current branding.

The new brand reintroduced Community Link, providing new opportunities to bring more stakeholders and donors to the table, and gave more visibility to the important work the agency is doing to combat the affordable housing crisis in our communities. The main thing we wanted to communicate was a continuum of services that help people go from homelessness all the way to home ownership with this organization’s help.

The Mosaic logo represents those many services, the diversity of our community, and the multiple people and agencies that work together: it symbolizes the framework of steps, services, people and organizations it takes to do all the things Community Link does

The welcome mat makes it a home, not just a house.
